The 2025 Academy Awards® had some expected wins, some absolute shockers, and, of course, the usual snubs. But one that really caught me off guard? Best Actress. I genuinely thought either Cynthia Erivo (Wicked) or Demi Moore (The Substance) would take it out. But nope—it went to Mikey Madison for Anora. Haven’t seen it yet, but a few mates told me it’s fine… just very slow. So yeah, a bit of a shocker.
